The work, duties and powers of the Assembly shall be as follows:-

(A) Conducting and managing programs of related subjects.

(B) To make necessary arrangements regarding the academic affairs of the college.

(c) To determine and award degrees.

(d) To approve the annual program of the university and pass the annual budget.

(e) To pass the rules of the university.

(f) To give directions and guidance to the schools and affiliated colleges of the university.

(g) Annual reports of the university and subordinate bodies. To discuss the above and to evaluate the program.

(h) To discuss and approve the audit report.

(h) To appoint teachers and staff necessary for the educational and administrative work of various bodies of the university. To approve.

(j) To grant permission for any new program to be conducted.

(k) To form a committee to submit a recommendation to the Chancellor for the appointment of the Vice-Chancellor.

(l) Forming various committees as needed.

(d) Determining the service and conditions of officials, teachers and staff.
